This review contains a Kitty Carnage Warning!
Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A Milan pimp named Luca Canali (Mario Adorf) is pursued by two American hit men (Henry Silva, Woody Strode) posing as mobsters.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Near the end of the film Luca is in a junk yard where he meets a tiny white, dirty kitten.
Luca pets the kitten as he awaits the would-be assassins.
The kitten unfortunately follows Luca around the abandoned cars as the Americans chase their quarry.
Luca tries to push the kitten away but the kitten persists.
Kitty Carnage Warning! Unfortunately the kitten is hit by a stray bullet. It would appear the kitten was sedated for this scene with a little patch of red fabric to stand in for blood. The kitten’s ear moves slightly when a gas cap lid is blown off the car where the animal is lying. Fortunately the lid misses hitting the kitten.
Final Mewsings: Kittens should not have to play dead kittens.
Many thanks to Nick Wale for letting us know about the kitten in this movie.
