Synopsis: An ancestral Scottish castle is the setting for this Italian horror film. A young woman named Corringa (Jane Birkin) arrives at the family estate to meet her mother (Dana Ghia) and Aunt Mary (Françoise Christophe), plus her mad Cousin James (Hiram Keller). Shortly after her arrival a series of gruesome murders begin, all taking place within eyesight of the resident cat. But who is committing the horrific acts?
Featured Feline: Referred to only as Kitty, the long-haired orange cat is present throughout this movie, witnessing all of the murders.
The cat is usually just a passive bystander to the gruesome goings-on, but one scene in which he climbs in bed with Corringa is very suspenseful and particularly well-filmed.
