Synopsis: A woman named Clelia (Eleonora Rossi Drago) arrives in Turin, Italy, to set up a new boutique and becomes friends with several women, each with their own set of troubles.
Purr Blur: One of the women in the group is Nene (Valentina Cortese), an artist who works with her husband painter named Lorenzo (Gabriele Ferzetti). In one scene Nene is in her home studio when a man comes to deliver some artwork. She gets on the phone to make a call. A black cat can be seen walking around her as she finds out someone wants to show her ceramics in New York.
Near the end of the film Nene comes home where Lorenzo is waiting. Some tragic things have happened and when she comes in she walks through a doorway and returns cradling the black cat in her arms.
She walks over to the other side of the room and puts the cat down when Lorenzo gets her attention.
Final Mewsings: A woman can always find comfort with her cat.
