Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this movie!
Synopsis: Oskar (Kåre Hedebrant) is an outcast at school, tormented by bullies and misunderstood by his classmates. When a mysterious girl named Eli (Lina Leandersson) moves into the apartment next to his, they form a strong but eerie friendship in this dark, brooding horror masterpiece from Sweden. Remade in America as Let Me In (however, we strongly recommend viewing this much more atmospheric original with English subtitles.)
Kitty Cameo: One cat which appears in the film is a white one in a shop window which reacts violently when Eli passes by.
Cat Cattle Call: One character named Gösta (Karl-Robert Lindgren) is a cat lover and has many cats in his apartment. After Virginia (Ika Nord) is attacked by Eli and starts to change, the cats in Gösta’s apartment react to her with hisses and snarls and then attack her en masse.
Final Mewsings: If your new girlfriend makes cats hiss, beware!
