Synopsis: Mollie (Kirstie Alley) struggles with being a single mom despite help from a cabbie named James (John Travolta) and her insightful son, Mikey, whose voice (Bruce Willis) narrates part of the film.

Purr Blur: After being told she is pregnant by a doctor, Mollie is lying in bed alone with a pillow on her stomach. Beside her is a tabby cat.

Mollie reaches up and turns out the light, the cat remaining by her side. Oddly enough the cat is not seen or ever mentioned again.
