by Linda Kay
Directed by: S.J. Clarkson
Synopsis: After a near death experience, ambulance driver Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson) starts having visions of the future which include three girls (Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced and Celeste O’Connor) being targeted by a ruthless man (Tahar Rahim) with apparent spider powers.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Early in the film Cassandra returns to her apartment where she lives alone. The first thing she does is fetch a carton of milk and open the window, pouring out some milk into a bowl for a stray longhair calico tabby cat who enters and partakes of the free meal.

“Us strays need to stick together,” she sighs to the kitty.

Later after things start getting crazy, Cassandra sneaks into her apartment to do some research into her mysterious past. The cat is sitting nearby and Cassandra tells him to wait.

Cassandra talks aloud, sometimes to the cat, including telling him, “Okay, let’s not mention that to anybody,” when she tries to climb a wall and fails miserably. The cat is not seen again. The animal wrangler on the film was Marisa Bellis, President of the company Acting Like Animals.

Final Mewsings: If Cassandra could see the future she should have known milk could cause health problems for cats.
