Original Air Date: January 27, 1968
Starring: Mike Connors, Joseph Campanella
Directed by: Leonard J. Horn
Synopsis: Lew Wickersham (Joseph Campanella) continues to suffer from hallucinations while being held captive. Meantime, Mannix (Mike Connors) investigates the mysterious goings-on.
Kitty Cameo: While Lew is being held near the docks in a storage area, he hears a meowing coming from above. He manages to stack a barrel and stool and reach the cover of a vent. When he pulls it off, an orange tabby cat is looking down the shaft at him.
Lew devises a means to escape. Eventually the cat gets bored and moves away from the hole. It should be noted that the cat looked like it was being held in position to look down the hole as opposed to doing it of his own volition.
Final Mewsings: Cats on roofs don’t usually bother looking down holes.
Many thanks to Ted Davis for letting us know about the cat in this episode!
