Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Married couple Charlie (Adam Driver) and Nicole (Scarlett Johansson) come to the point where divorce is their destiny and so they struggle with the emotional and legal ramifications of that experience.
Kitty Cameo: Charlie seeks a lawyer to help with his side of the divorce and ends up in the office of Bert Spitz (Alan Alda), a down and out attorney working in a cheap office. A tabby and white cat is present in the office during their first meeting.
When the men get up to leave the office, the cat follows.
After stopping in the lunch room they walk into the waiting room where Spitz’ associate (Emily Cass McDonnell) is sitting on the floor with Charlie’s son Henry (Azhy Robertson). They are petting the cat. “I wouldn’t expect too much from that cat,” Spitz warns the boy.
