Medal for the General (1944)

Synopsis: An over-the-hill general (Godfrey Teale), despondent that he is too old for World War II service, finds a new lease on life when six evacuee children are billeted in his spacious home.

Kitty Cameo: The morning after the children arrive the milk girl (Geraldine Keyes) is about to leave the usual two pints when the general’s gardener, McNab (John Laurie), holding a black cat, opens the window and informs her that won’t be nearly enough because the general’s just had six children!
