by Linda Kay
Original Air Date: May 1, 2006
Directed by: Aaron Lipstadt
Synopsis: Allison (Patricia Arquette) has visions of a woman named Kathleen (Molly Ringwald) who is the victim of terrifying nighttime visits by a faceless man.
Purr Blur: The episode opens with an out of focus, sideways shot of a longhair black and white cat crossing a floor, which turns out to be Allison’s dream about what Kathleen would be seeing while lying in her bed.

As it turns out Kathleen is blind. She turns up at the station and Allison gets her an interview with a detective. Allison does not let on that she has seen what Kathleen is experiencing through her dreams. When she asks if Kathleen has any pets the answer is yes, she has a cat named Boots, the cat Allison saw in her visions.

Final Mewsings: Cats apparently won’t alert you to intruders.
Many thanks to Laurie Morrison for letting us know about the cat in this episode.
