Synopsis: Detectives Barnaby (John Nettles) and Jones (Jason Hughes) investigate the myserious death of a wealthy man whose American niece suddenly arrives after everyone has been told she is dead.

Purr Blur: In one scene Barnaby and Jones are walking in town. A tuxedo cat is in front of the ice cream shop nearby.

The cat looks like it wants to run away but stays put until the men have passed.

Final Mewsings: The cat probably thought he was going to be arrested for loitering.
