Synopsis: Stephen Neale (Ray Milland) is released from a two-year sentence in an asylum after being found guilty of murdering his wife. He wins a cake at a local fete, setting off a chain of events wherein he realizes a sinister organization is after the secret within the cake which he accidentally intercepted.
Purr Blurs: Stephen returns to London and in one scene an air raid siren goes off. The residents of the area quickly head for their nearby tube station shelter. One little girl is seen with a baby buggy. She pulls a basket of kittens from the buggy and then joins her mother to go down to the station.
