During the ghostly singing, a ghost cat is lying on her side. It is then revealed she is feeding four kittens.

In rather disturbing imagery (very common for these Fleischer cartoons) the kittens suck their mama dry.

The mama cat then offers them a bottle which they share.

They kittens drink all the milk and become fat while their mother lies exhausted.

Later when Betty Boop and Bimbo flee from the cave they are chased by the many ghosts, including the cat.

Final Mewsings: We don’t even want to know how the mama cat and kittens became ghosts.
