Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: The team is assigned to rescue a Prince, his fiancé and his childlike cousin from the clutches of the evil General Ramon Sabattini (John Vernon) who plans to steal the crown for himself.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): The Prince’s fiancĂ©, Francesca (Diane Baker), faces a forced marriage with Sabattini. She is lying on her bed crying, holding a little white longhaired cat.
Francesca gets up and moves across the room when she hears something outside. It is Paris (Leonard Nimoy) who has sneaked outside her window with an offer of help.
He gives Francesca some items, including a small pistol, to help her aid them in her escape. But Sabattini enters and asks what she is hiding behind her back. Paris thinks quickly and tosses a coin at the cat, which makes the kitty leap from the couch with a Poor Cat Screech. Francesca is able to keep Sabattini from seeing the gun. Even though the episode is three parts long, the cat does not appear again.
Final Mewsings: Cats are different from people in that they don’t like having money thrown at them.
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting us know about the cat in this episode.
