Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Christy (Anna Faris) grows increasingly stressed living in a motel with her family and her mom Bonnie (Allison Janney) and eventually makes the decision to move in with Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy).
Cat Cattle Call: Marjorie is a fellow AA member who owns numerous cats. The cats are immediately apparent when the family arrives asking to stay.
Christy and Bonnie sleep on the sofabed and are rudely awakened (as well as the cats around them!) by Marjorie blending fish in the blender.
Marjorie explains she needs to feed the cats and the cats come running for the fish smoothie.
The cats are ever present in Marjorie’s apartment and it’s impossible to tell just how many there are.
Kitty Carnage Warning! Christy’s daughter Violet (Sadie Calvano) gets fed up with the situation and yells at her mother before storming into the other room. A moment later the door opens and a cat comes flying out (apparently the cat actor leapt from something high to simulate being thrown out).
Final Mewsings: There’s always room for more in a crazy cat lady’s house.
