Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains spoilers for this sketch!

Synopsis: The classic irreverent British sketch series takes on all topics and turns convention on its ear in a completely unique and witty way.  In the opening segment of this episode, a worried couple calls upon a vet to help them solve the problem of their cat’s apparent disinterest in life.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Of course we have to shine the spotlight on this sketch, one of the more memorable of the classic Python segments.  The vet recommends the couple hire a service called Confuse a Cat, which proceeds to stage one of the most bizarre presentations ever performed solely for the benefit of a bored cat.

Monty Python - Confuse a Cat

The ennui-ridden feline sits mostly motionless during the whole zany proceedings, leaving everyone anxiously awaiting the results.

Monty Python - Confuse a Cat 2

Fortunately the cat gets up and toddles into the house, cured!

Final Mewsings: It may seem a complicated solution, but likely cheaper than long-term pet psychiatric bills.
