Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this show!
Synopsis: This star-studded TV special stars a dog named Mooch (played by Higgins, best known for later playing Benji) who travels to Hollywood to become a star.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Mooch comes across actor Vincent Price at the Brown Derby and narrator Zsa Zsa Gabor encourages her (yes, Mooch is a female dog) to attach herself to him. After she jumps into Vincent’s car he drives her to a pet clinic. They wait their turn, sharing the waiting room with a man with a parrot and a woman (Grace Albertson) with a Siamese cat.
There is a hilarious several moments as the cat hisses at Mooch, Mooch barks at the cat, Vincent Price looks concerned and the woman looks annoyed.
The animal actors in this special were trained by Frank Inn.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t care how famous dog actors are!
