Synopsis: Dave Crabtree (Jerry Van Dyke) offers to take his wife Barbara (Maggie Pierce) on a long-overdue honeymoon, but Barbara’s mother Mrs. Netwick (Paula Winslowe) predicts trouble in the stars and goes to ridiculous lengths to prevent them from going.

Purr Blur: Mother Netwick lets the family’s dog, Moon, outside and he ends up being picked up by the dog catcher.  Dave and Barbara go to the pound to pick him up and a cat can be seen in a cage in the background.

Kitty Cameo: Another trick Mother Netwick tries is to get the neighbor’s cat and release it in front of Moon, causing him to run off again.  She then calls the Crabtree’s boy, Randy (Randy Whipple) to go after them and proclaims the boy is lost.

While everyone is looking for Randy, he appears carrying the cat and saying, “Pussycats should never chase dogs!”  He takes the cat inside the house to get it some milk.

Mrs. Netwick then coerces the Crabtree’s daughter, Cindy (Cindy Eilbacher) into taking the cat back to its family, leaving the others a note.
