by Linda Kay

Directed by: Dave Fleischer, Willard Bowsky

Synopsis: Betty Boop (voiced by Margie Hines) sings about the terrifying shape-shifting ghoul known as Mysterious Mose who appears to be Bimbo (voiced by Billy Murray) albeit in rare form.

Cartoon Cats: A black cat is sitting on a fence when the shadow of Mysterious Mose approaches.

The cat swipes at the shadow.

In return the shadow punches the cat who then turns into nine black cats, or more likely the nine lives of the one cat.

These cats yowl the recognizable scary refrain before the shadow move on.

Final Mewsings: Cats aren’t used to shadows fighting back.
