Directed by: Juliet Berto; Jean-Henri Roger
Synopsis: Bar waitress Anita (Juliet Berto) keeps an eye on young drug dealer Bobby (Ras Paul Nephtali) and feels responsible for not warning him when the police are on his tail.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Anita works at a bar called Le Chat in the Pigalle neighborhood of Paris and interacts with many of the people who live and work in the area. Bruno (Paul Le Person) is a cab driver who identifies Bobby to the police to secure the parole of his wife from prison. Bruno returns home one night with some groceries which he sets on the table near a black cat. But when he reaches out to pet him the kitty jumps from the table.

After talking to his daughter Wanda (Anna Prucnal), who has been told her mother is in the hospital, Bruno starts to open a can of cat food for the impatient cat who has to be told to wait for the processed meal.

In another scene a cat statue sits atop a building possibly meant to be the Le Chat bar but this is not made clear.

Final Mewsings: Cats at mealtime are just as bad as any drug addict needing a fix.
