Synopsis: Yoshirou Takagi (Teruaki Uotani) is a reclusive male living a boring life when he happens to find a stray kitten in a cardboard box and brings it to his home.  The next morning he awakens to find the kitten has transformed into a beautiful girl, whom he names Kiki (Yui Kano.)  The girl slowly starts to change his life, but is everything as it seems, or is there a darker meaning behind everything that is happening?

Kitty Cameo: I have to admit that the first time I started watching this film I gave up pretty quickly, thinking it was simply a furry fetish kind of affair.  But giving it a second chance I realized there is quite a bit of depth to the story, much more than one would expect.  Yes, there is nudity and sex, but very little and it isn’t the focus of the story.  But I digress.

In the opening and closing scenes the kitten which Takagi finds in the box is simply adorable and steals the show (although seiyuu actress Yui Kano does an admirable job of acting like a cat.)

Final Mewsings: Cats are definitely our angels.
