Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: James Bond (Sean Connery) tries to find the location of two stolen U.S. nuclear warheads before SPECTRE can blackmail the entire world.
Featured Feline: The evil Ernst Stavro Blofeld (this time played by Max von Sydow) returns in what is essentially a remake of the Bond film Thunderball. And of course he appears with his iconic white Angora cat.
Blofeld holds the cat while speaking to an assembly of SPECTRE members.
Later Blofeld broadcasts a message to the world warning them about what will happen with the nuclear warheads if they don’t pay him. Blofeld is smart enough to not show his face, keeping the camera aimed at the cat in his lap.
The cat is seen one last time near the end of the film, eating on Blofeld’s desk as the man brags that nothing can stop them now.
Final Mewsings: If you want to get the world’s attention, use a cat in your video!
