Starring: Johnny Arthur, Carl ‘Alfalfa’ Switzer
Directed by: Gordon Douglas
Synopsis: The Gang get stuck at Darla’s house during a storm and drive her father (Johnny Arthur) crazy.
Kitty Cameo: After getting fed up with sharing his bed with Spanky, Alfalfa, Buckwheat and Porky, Darla’s father goes downstairs to sleep on the couch. A black cat is sitting on the loveseat when the father arrives. “If you don’t mind!” Mr. Hood says as he picks up the cat and tosses it to one side. The cat meows in protest but lingers just in the frame even after being tossed.
Later Mr. Hood has a bad dream that causes him to sleepwalk. He has pulled a bear skin rug over him as a blanket so he walks around looking like a bear. The black cat sees this and arches and hisses in response.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like to be displaced by restless bears.
