Synopsis: A doctor (Keith Barron), a patholigist (Peter Cushing), a detective (Christopher Lee) and a reporter (Georgia Brown) all try to unravel the mysterious deaths surrounding a Scottish orphanage and a little girl named Mary Valley (Gwyneth Strong) whose nightmares about fire may hold the key.
Kitty Cameo: Mary’s birth mother is Anna Harb (Diana Dors), a seemingly disturbed prostitute and murderer who wants her daughter back in her custody. She enlists the help of reporter Joan Foster, who visits her home to hear her story. During this scene Anna is holding a black cat.
