Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A young man named Greg (voiced by Kyle McDaniel) prepares for a big move to the city but feels guilty about a secret he’s been keeping from his parents.
Cartoon Cat: At the beginning of the short, a magical cat named Gigi (voiced by Matthew Martin) and a dog appear from a rainbow.


Gigi tells the dog to watch as something will happen, something magical. Gigi blows a bubble which floats down and touches the tag on the collar of Greg’s dog Jim.


At the end of the short when everything has worked out, we see Gigi and the dog again. The dog is crying.


Gigi jumps to the dog’s back and sighs, “Dogs!” before they jump back into the rainbow and disappear.


Final Mewsings: Magical or not, cats help us understand ourselves.
