Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: This episode of the Nickelodeon sketch comedy show starring Dave Coulier features a segment about a girl who brings home a “stray” cat.
Kitty Cameo: The sketch begins showing the girl luring the “lost” cat with a fish on a sting.

She carries the large gray longhair cat home and begs her mother to keep it. Her mother is adamant about her not having any more pets.

The girl continues to plead and beg, painting a bleak picture for the poor “abandoned” cat who might starve or get hit by a car on the freeway until her mother agrees to let her bring it inside. The impending gag is spoiled slightly by a tuxedo cat coming out of the house behind the mother and a black cat on the ground outside.

Cat Cattle Call: Once inside we see there are already countless cats in the home.

The mother sighs at the end, saying, “Why can’t she just collect stamps?”

The Critic (an animated character voiced by Coulier who would comment negatively on the sketches) then appears with a yellow cat beside him. “Cats? I love cats!” he states, “Especially medium rare!” The cartoon cat throws its food bowl into The Critic’s face.

Final Mewsings: You can never collect too many cats!
