English Translation: Papa Becomes Mama

Synopsis: This screwball Italian comedy finds henpecked husband and working man Guiseppe (Aldo Fabrizi) transformed by a hypnotist into taking on the personality of his antagonistic wife Marguerita (Ave Ninchi).
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After the transformation, Guiseppe gives shopping orders to his children, then notices the family’s tuxedo cat sitting nearby.
Going to the window, Guiseppe cradles the cat as he calls down to his daughter Marcella (Giovanna Ralli) to pick up some tripe for the kitty.
A neighbor across the way starts talking to Guiseppe who continues to hold the cat, that is until he tosses the kitty over his arm for some odd reason.
While the cat does not interact with anyone else throughout the rest of the movie the kitty can be seen sitting patiently in the background several times.
Final Mewsings: Cats only change their gender when clueless people name them too early.
