Synopsis: Rudolph Tobler (Frank Morgan) is a soap company tycoon who enters his own slogan contest and wins a two week trip to the Alps where he goes incognito with the desire to see how the other half lives. The second runner up in the contest is the unemployed Fritz Hagedorn (Robert Young), who through a series of miscommunications enjoys the luxuries which the tycoon should be enjoying.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): In an early scene Rudolph Tobler is seen playing ping pong at home. The ball flies onto a chair where two Siamese kittens are sitting. Tobler retrieves the ball and lovingly scolds the kittens for playing with it.
Later when Tobler’s maid (Edna May Oliver) learns that the man has gone to the Alps using an alias she calls the hotel and tells them to provide him with all of his usual comforts, including the acquisition of three Siamese kittens. The kittens end up in the suite of Fritz, as Tobler discovers to his delight while visiting his newfound friend. Tobler plays with the kittens for a few moments before the scene resumes.
Final Mewsings: If only all hotels would offer kittens as part of their amenities!
