Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) is disraught when his one of a kind bicycle is stolen and sets out on a quest to find it.
Purr Blurs: Near the end of the film Pee-Wee is running away from the authorities when he comes across a pet store that is burning. He risks his own life to save the many animals inside. After releasing the dogs they follow him out of the store. Behind them three cats are sitting on a bench. We didn’t see the cats actually escape from the store but two of them, a long-haired ginger and a smaller black cat, remain on the bench for the rest of the scene.
Final Mewsings: Cats appreciate being rescued.
Many thanks to Nick Wale for reminding us of the cats in this movie!
