Peeks at Hollywood (1946)

by Ted Davis

Directed by: Irving Applebaum

Synopsis: In this Warner Brothers studio promotional short, two fledgling starlets, one of whom is played by Claire James, use a telescope located at the famous Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles to spy on a variable group of Hollywood stars including Errol Flynn.

Kitty Cameo: The family tabby noses a fresh bottle of milk on the front stoop as Arthur Lake, well known at the time as Dagwood in the popular Blondie movies series, emerges in the morning from his front door, wearing his pajamas, yawning and scratching (and overdoing both), to fetch the morning paper.

The casual cat arcs around him and disappears behind a bush.
