Synopsis: Jean-Baptiste Grenouille (Ben Whishaw) is a young man with a remarkable sense of smell whose obsession with the scent of a woman leads him down dark paths.

Kitty Cameo: Jean-Baptiste apprentices in the perfume business with noted perfumer Giuseppe Baldini (Dustin Hoffman). A longhair white cat is resting on a bench in his shop.

Kitty Carnage Warning! Unfortunately for the cat, Jean-Baptiste goes a little crazy with the distiller and Baldini is appalled to find the cat inside the cooker (a fake cat is used, thankfully!) and insists there is no way to distill the aroma from a cat.

Final Mewsings: Cats have better scents!
