Synopsis: Dr. Archie Bollen (George C. Scott) is newly divorced and finds himself being approached by a kooky socialite named Petulia (Julie Christie) who seems determined to strike up a relationship with him, perhaps to flee her own marriage.

Purr Blur: In one scene Archie is with his friends looking at slides of his family, including his ex-wife Polo (Shirley Knight).  In a couple of the slides Polo is seen holding a white Persian cat.  The slides are only on the screen for a few seconds.
