Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: The bumbling officers of the Academy find themselves facing bumbling but successful crooks who are pulling off major heists all over the city.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In one scene Hightower (Bubba Smith) is undercover as a milkman. As he approaches a building, a tabby cat is sitting nearby. The usually surly officer pauses and greets the kitty, then gets a little container and pours out some milk, talking cutesy to the cat as he does so. “Let’s just keep this between me and you,” Hightower suggests to the cat when finished.
Kitty Cameo: In a later scene Tackleberry (David Graf) confronts the main bad guy Ace (Gerrit Graham). A gray cat is seen just briefly running along a pipe, solely to knock off an empty peach can which the men then shoot to show their marksmanship skills. If you look closely, you can see the string which really pulls the can down as the cat passes.
Final Mewsings: Tough guys aren’t afraid to love cats!
