Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Artist Eben Adams (Joseph Cotten) finds inspiration in a mysterious young woman named Jennie (Jennifer Jones).
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In an early scene, Eben returns to his apartment building and tries to get up the stairs quietly without alerting the landlady Mrs. Jekes (Florence Bates) to his presence. But she catches him on the stairs wanting her rent. He is only able to give her five dollars. When she goes back into her apartment she sits down with her friend Mrs. Bunce (Esther Somers). During their conversation an adorable little cat walks back and forth on the couch between them.
The cat seems preoccupied with hoping one of the two ladies has something to eat, sniffing at whatever they are holding in hopes of it being food.
Final Mewsings: Somebody please feed the kitty!
