Directed by: Robert Lynn

Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Small town postman Harold Petts (Spike Milligan) gets promoted to London, but finds mail delivery in the big city to be very different than it is in the country.

Kitty Cameo: Suspecting that Petts was behind an attempted mail train robbery, the police set P.C. Woods (John Wood) on his trail. As Woods is waiting outside the apartment where Petts is staying, a tabby cat is sniffing around some garbage cans.

The cat jumps into one of the cans. Moments later Woods is startled and falls backwards into the can, effectively trapping the cat inside. The cat is not seen again but its screeches and yowls plus Woods frantic motions while trying to get his behind out of the can paints a clear picture of how the cat is reacting to the situation.
