Synopsis: Part of Cannon’s Movie-Tales series, this is a musical retelling of the classic story with Christopher Walken as the human form of Puss when he is wearing boots.

Featured Feline: Puss is an adorable orange and white cat which is bequeathed by a dying miller to his youngest son, Corin (Jason Connery).

In the early stages of the film Puss is played by a real cat actor, but later Puss starts to take on the form of a man, intermittently at first, asking for a new pair of boots.

When Corin gets Puss his boots he changes into Christopher Walken. He only changes back into a cat occassionally in the film, most notably near the end when he tricks the ogre.
