Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Driving instructor Rafferty (Alan Arkin) gets tangled up with two eccentric drifters, Frisbee (Mackenzie Phillips) and Mac (Sally Kellerman), after they kidnap him at gunpoint.
Kitty Cameo: Despite their strained beginnings, Rafferty befriends the girls and they embark on a road trip. In Tucson, Arizona, Frisbee is approached by a serviceman named Alan Boone (Charlie Martin Smith) who explains he was jilted by his fiancé and it is his last day of furlough. Frisbee suggests they go to the hotel. When they arrive, they approach the front desk and ask for a room. A woman is sitting to one side of the desk holding a torbie cat.
Frisbee gives the woman and cat a strange look after telling the desk clerk that she and Boone are married.
Final Mewsings: Even the cat knew they weren’t a married couple!
