Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Amelia Tate (Italia Ricci) is an unknown American actress who wins the role in a lifetime when she is flown to Rome to star in a remake of Roman Holiday. Philip Hamilton (Peter Porte) is the reporter assigned to get the truth behind this mysterious actress.
Featured Feline: Philip owns a tabby point Siamese cat named Dante which is seen with him in his apartment throughout the film.
Philip often confides to Dante while he is trying to write or gather information.
He even tells Dante not to judge him when he publishes the article on Amelia without letting her read it first as he had promised.
As in most romantic Hallmark films, everything works out in the end.
Final Mewsings: When in Rome, do as the cats do!
