Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Later the kitten is looking out a window and then sitting in another window.

When Saturnin gets lost in the woods and is threatened by a snake (who is really too small to pose much of a threat), the kitten joins the other animals in running to the rescue and pokes his head out to scare the snake.

This may be one of the earliest incarnations of director Jean Tourane’s animal films which later became a series entitled Saturnin, le petite canard (or Les aventures de Saturnin). Americans may be most familiar with these characters through the redubbed bumpers used on Fox Kids Network and retitled Dynamo Duck. Apparently this short went by the sorry title Sebastian the Scatterbrain when distributed in America.

Final Mewsings: Kittens and ducks don’t like to be called scatterbrains.
