Synopsis: The gang investigate an older woman’s claim that she is under the power of a curious cat curse which changes her into a pilfering, polythene pussycat creature.

Cartoon Cats: The cat creature, it should come as no surprise, is just a person in a masked costume.

However, when Fred (voiced by Frank Welker), Velma (voiced by Nicole Jaffe) and Daphne (voiced by Heather North) are exploring a tunnel, they are startled by a cat’s shadow on the wall and the most ungodly kitty screeches imaginable. It turns out just to be an orange tabby.

The cat leaps into Daphne’s arms and she pets the kitty.
