Synopsis: Carson (Phoebe Cates) is about to get married so her girlfriends Melaina (Briget Fonda), Pudge (Annabeth Gish) and Luanne (Page Hannah) spirit her away to Myrtle Beach for a girls’ weekend.
Kitty Cameo: Carson is trying on her wedding dress before the trip. Her fiancé Harley (Tyrone Power Jr.) is sitting behind a screen with a white Persian cat on his lap.
In the next shot the cat can be seen walking out from behind the screen and is not seen again.
Final Mewsings: If your fiancé likes cats, he’s a keeper.
