Directed by: Mark Burton, Richard Starzak
Synopsis: Shaun the sheep decides to take a day off from the farm which leads to a crazy adventure in the city.
Cartoon Cat: At one point Shaun is caught by animal control nut A. Trumper and taken to the man’s Animal Containment Unit which resembles a prison. As Shaun is being led past the various cells, he pauses in front of one glassed-in enclosure.
A cat is inside wearing a cone. The cat lifts its head and makes a slurping noise. All of this is a parody of Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs.
Later when some people arrive for adoption day, all of the animals make themselves more presentable. The cat lowers his cone and smiles innocently.
Final Mewsings: Would this then be the Cone of Silence of the Lambs?
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting us know about the cat in this film.
