Original Air Date: October 28, 1984

Directed by: Jack Shea

Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!

Synopsis: A blackout on Halloween night finds Edward (Joel Higgins) suggesting Rick (Ricky Schroder) and his friends tell ghost stories.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Edward begins the story with the boys Rick, Alfonso (Alfonso Ribeiro) and Freddy (Corky Pigeon) arriving at a scary house. Inside it looks like a haunted mansion with a coffin in the middle of the room. A top hat is on the floor beside the coffin and when the boys walks towards it the hat scoots across the floor in front of them. Freddy thinks it is a poltergeist and Alfonso thinks it’s a hat looking for its owner’s head. But Rick remains calm and a moment later the hat rolls over, revealing an adorable tabby and white kitten. The studio audience even gasps with delight at the sight of the tiny kitty.
