Synopsis: Love abounds despite a vicious feud between two Mexican cities.
Purr Blur: In one scene Ruben (Rick Jason) is looking for Pepe (Ricardo Montalban) in the home of Tia Magdalena (Rosaura Revueltas) who is known for being a witch. As he enters, a black cat is standing on a table in front of him.

After a moment, the cat moves to the back of the table and jumps down, not to be seen again.

Director Norman Foster often included black cats in his films, considering them to be lucky.
