Stamp of a Killer (1987)

by Linda Kay

Also Known As: Dangerous Affection; Hit and Run

Directed by: Larry Elikann

Synopsis: In this rather ridiculous made-for-TV movie, Cathy Proctor (Judith Light) is a pregnant woman raising a young son Sam (Billy O’Sullivan) after her self-centered husband bails on her. As if things weren’t bad enough, Billy appears to be the target of a vicious criminal (Michael Parks) who will do anything to retrieve the postage stamp he has glued to his hand for some bizarre reason.

Kitty Cameo: Cathy is visiting Cathy’s friend Claudia (Rhea Perlman) while Sam plays with Claudia’s brown tabby cat.

Sam asks if they can have a kitty, too, but his mother simply admonishes him for interrupting. After Sam is almost kidnapped, Claudia implies that she will get Sam a cat but somehow this promise is never fulfilled.
