Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: A liquor store starts selling a bottled brew called Tenafly Viper to the local bums, not realizing that the contents make people melt.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In one scene a bum lounges on a fire escape with a bottle of the Tenafly Viper. He then notices a black cat with him.

When the goo starts flying, the cat runs to the other side of the fire escape.

The cat actually has another credit in the film. The director explained on the commentary track that the sound of the black kitten was used as a dying bellow for Bronson’s wench as she dies.

The cat wrangler on the film was Christopher Frumkes (a likely relation to producer Roy Frumkes).
