Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Jack Mason (Ice-T) is homeless and living on the streets when he’s recruited by a hunting organization to help with a remote hunt, not realizing that he is to play the part of the hunted!
Purr Blur: At the beginning of the film Jack is seen scrounging in garbage bins for food, some of which he shares with a mongrel he calls Mingo. Moments later a ginger tabby cat passes the alley and Mingo takes chase. The cat is not shown again and poor Mingo runs into the street with disastrous results.

Interestingly enough, Mingo the dog, Jasper the wolf and Hercules the boar are all mentioned in the end credits with their animal trainers (Anne’s Animal Actors for the former and J & D Grain Sales for the later) but the cat and a parrot get no such mention.

Final Mewsings: Cats and parrots deserve credits, too!
Many thanks to Nick Wale for letting us know about the cat in this film!
