Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A retelling of the classic Agatha Christie story And Then There Were None. A group of people find themselves stranded at a remote ski resort with someone out to kill each and every one of them.
Kitty Cameo: A gray cat is on the premises and turns up occasionally, usually darting from one place to another when someone is about to be killed.
The guests explore the cellars to try to find the murderer. One man named General Mandrake (Leo Genn) comes across the gray cat and picks her up.
He then hears a noise and is suddenly confronted by someone with a knife.
General Mandrake is stabbed to death, even while still holding the cat! The cat doesn’t run away until the man falls to the ground.
The cat is seen more prominently at the end of the film when the mystery is solved. To show you all of the images of the cat would be to give the ending away.
Interestly enough, the cat is also featured in the movie’s trailer in footage not seen in the film itself.
Final Mewsings: You wouldn’t murder a man holding a cat, would you?
