Synopsis: Jethro (Max Baer Jr.) brings home a friend from school, a rich boy named Armstrong Dueser McHugh III (Michel Petit) whose overprotective guardian never lets him have any fun.
Cinema Cat: Orangey returns in this episode as the Clampett’s cat Rusty who appears in a scene in which Jethro and Elly May are trying to coax Armstrong into swimming for the first time. By way of example, Jethro says Elly May has taught the cat how to swim. We see footage of Rusty swimming which was originally used in the episode Elly’s Animals.
Elly May then helps Rusty out of the pool and wraps him in a towel to dry.
Jethro continues to coax Armstrong to swim but the boy is nervous. Jethro points out that he and Elly May are right there and Elly May adds that Rusty is there, too.
Armstrong finally dives in and starts to swim. Jethro then points out that the boy has swum right out of his makeshift swimming trunks. Elly May turns her head away but Rusty continues to look.
Final Mewsings: Cats aren’t embarrassed by nudity.
