Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: The first film appearance of Billy Jack (Tom Laughlin) as a half-breed Navajo Indian, Green Beret war veteran with a taste for justice who defends Vicky Barrington (Elizabeth James), a young woman raped by a vicious motorcycle gang in a coastal California town.
Kitty Cameo: The motorcycle gang, who call themselves The Born Losers, have had some of their members arrested for raping several women. The gang uses scare tactics to keep the women from testifying. One young girl named Jodell (Janice Miller) is home alone when she hears a noise outside. We see a shot of a tabby cat in a garbage can which meows.
Jodell assumes the cat made the noise she heard but moments later the lights go out. She goes outside to check the fuse box and as she does so the cat leaps from the garbage can with a screech.
Final Mewsings: Avoid confusing cats with psycho motorcycle creeps! Keep your garbage cans covered!
